A notable voice involved in the upcoming Street Fighter film is already generating buzz about two major WWE names making their mark on the big screen.
Actor David Dastmalchian recently spoke with Soundsphere and didn’t hold back when discussing the performances of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in the highly anticipated video game adaptation.
“You can definitely tell everybody that I said that Cody Rhodes’ performance as Guile is going to be one of the highlights of Street Fighter,” he stated. “And when everyone sees what Roman Reigns did as well, they’re going to freak out.”
That’s a bold endorsement.
Dastmalchian continued to praise the overall project, adding, “It’s a great film. It’s really exciting.”
For additional context, Dastmalchian portrays the iconic villain M. Bison in the film, while Rhodes takes on the role of Guile and Reigns steps in as Akuma.
The Street Fighter movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
