AEW Collision 10/25/25
From the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas! Here comes the AEW World Champion.
“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Page says The Opps have fought the Death Riders for a year, and they never killed them, and when they had the opportunity, they cleared the way for Hangman, and Hangman owed him. That’s why he gave him a title shot. Hangman did what he said he was going to do at WrestleDream, knocking him on his ass and pinning him. Joe was embarrassed he couldn’t kill the Hangman. The Opps have become the very thing they fought against. Joe is no longer the hunter, Joe is the hunted. When Hangman does find you, Joe, he will ruin your entire life.
This is a war, not a battle. A marathon, not a sprint. The Stone Pitbull. Pac doesn’t care how much “wacky backy” ya smoke, Pac is going to smoke you in that ring tonight. We are the Death Riders, and we still dominate this place, whether ya like it, or not.
Match #1. Pac w/ Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, & Marina Shafir vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Both men avoid enziguiris and lariats early as we reset. Shoulder block by Ishii and a big vertical suplex. Pac rolls outside and Ishii follows, but Garcia provides the distraction and Pac gets in a cheap shot. Pac in control now with a running European uppercut in the corner. Pac heads up top and comes off with a shotgun dropkick and we’re heading to commercial. Pac is laying in some hard chops in the corner but he woke the Stone Pitbull up! Ishii fights his way out with chops and a big shoulder block. Ishii sets Pac up on top and delivers a super stalling suplex! One, two, no! Pac blocks a lariat and delivers a few kicks. Enziguiri misses and Ishii hits a big headbutt. High stack powerbomb by Ishii! Two count. Ishii seems to be favoring his shoulder, with the referee checking on it several times so far. Pac rolls to the apron and flips over the back of Ishii, delivering a big boot. Ishii with a clothesline and a rebound German suplex! Sliding lariat misses and Pac comes back with a rebound German of his own! Enziguiri by Pac. Lariat by Ishii! Both guys are down! Pac comes back with some forearms and Ishii fires an uppercut forearm of his own. Marina trips up Ishii from the outside, allowing Pac to hit a big boot to the back, a tombstone piledriver, AND a bridging German suplex! Ishii is out at 2.9999! Pac gets a head of steam and runs into a lariat. Pac counters a suplex with a brainbuster of his own! One, two no! Pac sends Ishii to the outside, where Wheeler Yuta hits the Busaiku Knee on the floor. Yuta rolls Ishii back in the ring where Pac hits the ropes, once, twice, three times before delivers a brutal lariat. That’ll do it.
Winner: Pac
Rating: ***3/4. I loved this and I didn’t want it to end. Pac has been on fire since he’s been back, and a win here over Ishii with the help of the Death Riders makes sense. Brutal affair here, both guys beating the heck out of each other. On a personal note, Tomohiro Ishii is one of my all time favorite wrestlers, so to be able to see guys like he and Shibata on TV nearly every week, with match ups we never expected to see, is awesome.
Match #2. Mina Shirakawa vs. Thekla
Mina mocks some spider walks and delivers a double jump rebound kick from the corner. Running dropkick by Mina as she sets Thekla up in the surfboard. Mina lets go of the surfboard and stomps on the hands of Thekla, before stomping on the knees. Hair beil by Thekla. Two. A third. Mina counters with a single arm DDT before focusing the attack on the knee of Thekla. Knee breakaer and a knee drop, now. Skye Blue and Julia Hart now make their way down to the ring, catching the eye of Mina and allowing Thekla to attack from behind. Both women trade forearms until Thekla charges and eats a forearm and a running knee. Tornillo splash from the outside-in by Thekla. Clover Leaf drop by Mina and now a sliding lariat. Spinning backfist by Mina misses, but a second one connects. Mina goes up top, but Thekla follows. Both women are trading shots on the top rope now, with Thekla getting dropped with a right hand, but she spider’s up, hits a forearm, and hits the spider superplex! Spider walk by Thekla but she charges into a running knee by Mina. Pair of rolling elbows by Mina and an enziguiri. Spinning backfist by Mina gets two. Diving Slingblade from the top (kind of, she slipped off of it) gets a two count. Mina thinks about the Glamorous Driver, but Thekla flips over the back and Skye Blue is on the apron. Mina disposes of both blue and Hart but runs into a spear from Thekla. Death Trap by Thekla and Mina is forced to tap!
Winner: Julia Hart
Rating: ***. Heck of a battle between these two women. A little sloppy at times, but both women hit hard and the Triangle of Madness continue to roll.
Lexy Nair is with TayJay, who are approached by Miranda Alize and Tegan Knox. They came to AEW because it’s where the best wrestle. TayJay loves a challenge. Consider it done.
MxMTV are here and call everyone in Texas fat. Mansoor runs down the ring announcer, telling her that she looks like a busted can of biscuits, or like he drew her with a left hand, or like God told a joke. Woof. Well, here’s the next mach.
Match #3. Taya Valkyrie vs. Olympia
Olympia is a professional bodybuilder from CMLL. Running shoulder block by Olympia. Bronco Buster in the corner only gets a one count. Taya chops her way out of the corner but gets knocked off the apron, right into the arms of MXM, but Olympia flies off the top with a crossbody and takes everyone down. Olympia has Taya up on her shoulders in a fireman’s carry, does a few squats, and sits out into a facebuster, F5 kind of move. One, two, three.
Winner: Olympia
Rating: NR. Not much to this, other than a showcase for Olympia. To be honest, I’m not at all familiar with her but she’s in ridiculous shape.
A Dynamite Fright Night Fight has been announced, as we have a four-way for the number one contender spot against Hangman Page for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Samoa Joe, Hook, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet.
Match #4. Bryan Keith vs. Ace Austin
Austin’s singles debut here in AEW I believe. Takeover by Austin gets a quick two and Keith isn’t happy. Low leg trip and an enziguiri by Austin. Quick two count. Dropkick by Austin and a springboard crossbody. One count. Keith rolls to the outside and Austin follows up with a PK and some chops against the guard rail. Double jump enziguiri attempt by Austin but Keith pulls the referee in front of him, forcing Austin to pull up short. The lapse allows Keith to grab Austin and hit a big exploder over the top and to the floor. Huge boot by Keith on the floor! Commercial time. Austin counters an exploder with a roll up for two. Austin rolls backwards into a cazedora, into an arm drag. Austin begs Keith to hit him, but ducks underneath and connects with a short-arm clothesline. Wrist trapped flying knee and a Russian leg sweep by Austin. Standing leg drop now and Austin is fired up. Ghostbuster-like maneuver by Austin and a double foot stomp to the head variation. Austin charges and Keith BLASTS him with a headbutt underneath the jaw. Backdrop driver by Keith! Two count. Rolling elbow by Keith but a charge in the corner misses. Double jump Disaster Kick by Austin. Austin finishes this one with The Fold!
Winner: Ace Austin
Rating: ***1/2. Nice competitive match, here. It’s been two weeks and I’d forgotten about the Bang Bang Gang and Big Bill/Bryan Keith squabble, but I’m glad we’ve gotten back to it. The crowd was behind Austin here the whole time, and his innovative offense had a chance to shine.
Lexy Nair asks what’s going on between Takeshita and Okada. Callis says it’s all gossip, it’s a family. Families have disagreements. The Don Callis Family Summit takes place on Dynamite.
Backstage, Dalton Castle and OutRunners are here, as Lexy Nair wants to know the secret to their success lately. They’re quickly interrupted by The Acclaimed, and things go sideways. Dalton Castle wants to reshoot the segment, but Lexy tells him that they’re live. AND THAT’S THE SECRET, BABY.
Match #5. Griff Garrison w/ The Frat House vs. Hook w/ Eddie Kingston
Splashes in the corner by Garrison and a big boot. Hook ducks a clothesline and delivers a few clotheslines. Double axe handle by Hook and an exploder. RedRum. Finito.

Match #6. $400,000 All-Star Eight-Man Tag: FTR & The Young Bucks vs. JetSpeed & Jurassic Express
Knight works circles around Nick early and delivers a dropkick. Blind tag and Matt comes in. Assisted dropkick sends Knight feeling. Double hip toss and double dropkick by JetSpeed as Bailey gets the quick tag. Rapid fire kicks to Cash, as Perry now gets the tag. Action is fast here, by the way. Perry rolls Cash up out of a powerslam and he gets two. Running clothesline by Cash and a tag to Dax. Perry escapes a snap suplex and slaps Dax in the face before tagging Luchasaurus. Dax goes to the eyes and attacks with some chops. Crossbody by Dax is caught, but Cash comes in and get body slammed. Double low leg sweep by the Bucks to Luchasaurus. Hurricanrana to everyone by Perry and Bailey comes off the top with a diving dropkick. Knight now does the same, taking out FTR. Triple moonsault off the corner by Bailey, Perry, and Knight as Luchasaurus choke slams Cash and hits a moonsault for two. Commercial. Cash steals the spotlight as Matt was holding the ropes for Nick, and Cash takes out Luchasaurus on the outside. DDT by Matt to Bailey. Sliced Bread by Matt and Dax to Perry! Nick with a springboard facebuster from the apron and a moonsault off the apron to Bailey. Cash crotches himself and tags Matt, but Knight is in too and he’s a house of fire. Diving clothesline by Knight and a big body slam. UFO splash gts a two count as FTR breaks it up. Knight leaps over a double clothesline and hits a double dropkick. Matt gets back body dropped to the floor and it’s a double plancha from JetSpeed. UFO Splash in the ring but Matt moves. Knight sets him up on top and hurricanranas him off into a Bailey powerbomb! Triangle moonsault by Bailey. Knight goes up top but Stokely throws powder in his eyes! Superkick by Matt gets two. Just the Tip by Nick gets another two count. Commercial. Back from break with a Sky High from Knight to Cash. Dax gets the tag and a left lariat to Kelly. Dax taunts Luchasaurus and Knight gets a big dropkick. Luchasaurus disposes of everyone. Big splash to FTR in one corner. Splash in the other corner to the Bucks. Double clotheslines to both teams. Assisted hurricanrana off the apron to the floor by Perry to Matt, into Nick. Double low blow to Luchasaurus by FTR as Stokely distracts the referee. Power and Glory to Luchasaurus, with a diving elbow and a 450 by Nick! One, two, no! Double Shatter Machine to JetSpeed! Four-way BTE Trigger misses and they all hit knees. Chokeslam to Nick. To FTR. To Matt on Dax! Countdown to Extinction to Dax! Corner moonsault by Luchasaurus. Time Adventure to Dax. Divling lariat to Cash. UFO Splash to Cash! One, two, three!

Rating: ***1/2. All action, everyone in the ring at once, complete, madness. Felt like an old school PWG eight-man. The rules were lax but the action was fun. The Bucks are still broke.
Final Thoughts: Lots of wrestling tonight, and it felt like a different show than Dynamite. Saturday nights really do seem like a different cast of characters, and that keeps each show feeling fresh to me. The main event was a heck of a lot of fun, and fast paced, which the crowd loved. I was here for the Pace and Ishii match, which ruled, in it’s own right. Like I said on Wednesday, that women’s tag team tournament has some potential for greatness, too. 7.5/10.Â
