Huge biel by Mortos. Mortos misses a pair of charges and Hologram escapes with an enziguiri. Springboard crossbody and a deja vu tieres sends Mortos to the outside. Back in the ring and Hologram comes off the top but lands on his feet, and Mortos responds with a twisting arm drag and a POUNCEEEEEE. Tornillo through the ropes by Mortos and we go to commercial! Back from break and Mortos goes up top, only to get kicked in the head. Hologram heads up top, and Mortos catches him with an avalanche Gorilla Press! Two count. Tieres off the top by Hologram and another running sunset flip gets the win.
Winner: Hologram
Rating: ***1/2. Well, if you like these types of matches, you’ll love this one. The fans in attendance were on their feet, but the finish felt a little flat.
After the match, Mortos attacks Hologram and tries to remove the mask but Komander is here to make the save with a springboard dropkick. Double dropkick and double enziguiri by KomandoGram.
A vignette for “Speedball” Mike Bailey is shown!
Lexy Nair welcomes Harley Cameron to the stage. Huge reaction for Harley here. Harley says Grand Slam was only the beginning, and she won’t stop until everyone know what it feels like to FEEL.. THE… WRATH.
Match #2. Gabe Kidd vs. The Butcher
Kidd attacks early but Butcher is eating the shots. Butcher chops back and Kidd dumps him with a Saito suplex. Butcher goes to the throat and dumps Kidd to the outside. Butcher whips Kidd into the apron and follows up with a clothesline. T-bone suplex on the floor by Kidd! Kidd in control now with some ground and pound but Butcher fires back with a big boot. Both guys hit the ropes and Kidd with a comebacker lariat. Piledriver finishes this one.
Winner: Gabe Kidd
Rating: *3/4. Butch got in enough offense to make it somewhat competitive, but this was all Kidd.
Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher are with Lexy Nair in the back. Lexy reminds us that Ospreay challenged Fletcher to a steel cage match. Callis says as talented as Ospreay is physically, he’s deficient mentally as per Fletcher wants to cripple him and he can do so in a cage.
Match #3. Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata
Both women trade arm ringers and Aminata snatches a head lock takeover. Snap mare and a kick to the back of Hart and now a sliding leg lariat. Double overhand chop by Aminata in the corner but Hart responds with a running clothesline. STO by Hart, who proceeds to bounce Aminata’s head off the mat. Hart blocks a third attempt and delivers some back elbows. Flying Octopus by Hart and Aminata taps!
Winner: Julia Hart
Rating: **. Weird one here, as Amianta got all the offense in and the ending kind of came out of nowhere. Both women have grown so much in the ring though, the future’s are bright.
Match #4. The Murder Machines vs. Sky High
Sky High gets tossed out of the tunnels and brutalized in the ring. Blackout to one of them. Deadlift superplex by Cage to the other. Big boot/German suplex combo. Powerbomb/chokeslam combo. Finito.
Winner: The Murder Machines
Rating: NR. This ruled.
Murder Machines are on the mic. They want the Hurt Syndicate.
…and here they are.
MVP says The Murder Machines have no gold, so who are they to call anyone out? The fans chant “we hurt people” in the meantime. MVP says they dictate the time and the place, he’ll give them an opportunity. Next week, if the Murder Machines beat a real tag team… then they can talk business.
A video package for Action Andretti and Lio Rush is shown.

Parker takes it to Yuta early with a snap suplex and a quick dropkick. Quick tags back and forth but Parker finds himself in trouble in the Death Rider’s corner. Double dropkick from Yuta on the apron to Parker’s face, over the middle rope. Menard gets the hot tag and clotheslines everyone. Cutter on Pac! Claudio blasts Menard from behind but Garcia and Parker are here for a triple back body drop on Claudio. Triple suplex to the Death Riders. Triple mounted punches in the corner and we go to commercial. Max cuts out on me for a little bit and we come back as the fight spills all over the place as we’re back from break and Parker superplexes Pac. Yuta makes the save at two. Drop toe hold by Menard and a diving elbow by Parker. Try the same thing but Claudio counters with an anti-air European uppercut! Brutalizer is locker in the middle of the ring and Parker taps!
Winners and STILL AEW World Trios Champion: The Death Riders
Rating: NR. I missed a good chunk of the middle, but what I saw was just fine. Seemed like a vessel to get to the next trios title match, and that’s fine.
After the match, The Death Riders continue the attack but YOU KNOW IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BOOM! The Undisputed Kingdom are here to make the save and The Death Riders bail. Cole and Garcia share a fist bump as Pac gets superkicked and Roddy and Kyle hit their version of Total Elimination.
Moxley and Marina Shafir are here to even up the odds but Adam Copeland is here! Cope hits the ring and BLASTS Pac with a ConChairTo as Menard, Parker, Garcia, and The Undisputed Kingdom keep the rest of the Death Riders at bay. A second ConChairTo! Cope is stoic and stares down Moxley before walking to the back. Cope said he would take them out one by one… and the first Domino falls.
The Vendetta has a vendetta against… Harley Cameron.
Max Caster is here and this week’s open challenger is…
Match #6. Max Caster vs. Brody King
King chops him down. Back body drop by King and an avalanche in the corner. CANNONBALL.
Winner: Brody King

The Hurt Syndicate stumble upon The OutRunners. Floyd wants to know if they can be the team that wrestles the Murder Machines next week, and if they win, do they get a title shot? MVP agrees.

Head scissors by Jericho.. now called the “hi spot”.. for two. Jericho goes up top and Bandido meets him.. oh boy, both guys are shaking… moonsault powerslam by Bandido! Wow! Two count. 2.999, that is. Bandido looks for his version of the G2S and he hits it! Bandido looks for the 21 Plex but Jericho blocks it with a victory roll… and gets the three!
Winner and STILL Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho
Rating: ***3/4. This ruled, and was one of the best Chris Jericho matches I’ve seen in quite some time. I thought for sure we’d see a title change here, but it was not to be. Who’s going to take the title from Jericho? I don’t know, but Bandido looks fantastic here and he and Jericho tore the place up.
Final Thoughts: Perfectly acceptable episode of Collision tonight, considering it had to follow Grand Slam last week. Starting the show hot with Mortos and Hologram was a great idea and the crowd responded as you’d expect them to. A Gabe Kidd sighting, Speedball vignette, and a heck of a main event starring Chris Jericho? I’ll take it. 7.5/10.Â
