Mark Briscoe wants Fletcher to bring the whole family because it’s his ass, boy!
Fletcher is leaving the family behind so he can prove he’s better than Briscoe, even on his best day.
Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are here and they run down tonight’s show, including Halftime Harley Cameron!
Marina Shafir and Jon Moxley show up out of nowhere and Shafir dumps a few security guards on their head. Moxley says he’s tired of Cope and there are a thousand reasons why he doesn’t deserve a title shot. Cope knows nothing about being the AEW world champion, but, he’ll fight Cope next week in Brisbane in a tag match, so it’s the Death Riders vs. Cope and Jay White!
Match #1. Six-Man Triple Threat Match: Undisputed Kingdom vs. Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, & Angelo Parker vs. Shane Taylor Promotions
Taylor and Roddy trade some chops but Roddy boots him in the face and connects with an enziguiri. Tag to Kyle but Taylor runs through both of them with a clothesline. Quick tags as Bravo flies in with an elbow, and now Dean. Lariat by Dean. Menard in with a drop toe hold and a diving elbow by Parker. Menard hops on commentary as Cole hits a pump kick on Bravo and now Garcia tags himself in and mounts everyone in the corner. Have I mentioned this crowd is amazing? They’re amazing. Taylor in and he headbutts Garcia, allowing Dean to hit a cutter off the apron to the outside, a knee to the back of the head by Bravo, and a leg drop on the apron by Taylor! Garcia somehow escapes and tags Kyle, Roddy, and Cole, and it’s a high kick and a clothesline for Taylor. Pump kick to Bravo. Ushigaroshi to Bravo. Chasing the Dragon 2.0 to Dean! Brainbsuter on the knee to Bravo! Two count. Menard breaks up the pin and hits a cutter on Roddy. Noshigami by Parker to Kyle. Butterfly backbreaker to Parker by Dean. Headbutt to Garcia by Taylor. Superkick by Cole! Everyone is in the ring and it’s a brawl! Double elevated DDT to Cole by 2.0. Backbreaker by Roddy and a knee off the top by Kyle. Kick combo by Kyle to Garcia but Garcia fires back with an overhand palm strike and a Saito to Kyle! Bravo and Dean are in with a double curb stomp to Garcia. Parker dumps Dean but Taylor cracks him with a headbutt. Package piledriver to Parker! PK by Kyle. Triple superkick/rolling elbow/high knee by the UK and a high low to Taylor who had rolled outside. Bravo escapes a Panama Sunrise but eats a superkick and Cole lowers the boom!
Winners: The Undisputed Kingdom
Rating: ***1/4. Everyone get your stuff in and have an opening match the fans will get to their feet for? Check.
The Death Riders attack Adam Cole and now… everyone else at the ringside. Claudio takes the mic to remind everyone who the real trios champions are (remember those titles?). Cole says they picked a fight with the wrong trios, and Roddy and Kyle make the save. Cole wants the trios championship next week on Dynamite, and we’ve got a match set up for Dynamite.
FTR remind us that they’re the GOAT but in order to establish that, they need a third title reign.
Max Caster wants to know who can survive the best wrestler alive? Open challenge on Dynamite.
Match #2. Bandido vs. Bryan Keith
Huge kick by Keith and Bandido handsprings back and puts the fingers guns to Keith’s face. Twisting arm drag by Bandido and Keith fires back with some chops. Keith runs into an enziguiri from the apron but catches Bandido with an anti-air elbow as we go to commercial. Tornillo off the top by Bandido and a one-arm military press! Two count. Bandido looks for the 21 Plex but he runs into a huge lariat by Keith. Now Keith runs into a boot and Bandido heads up top, but Keith catches him with a rising headbutt. Avalanche exploder! Two count. Palm strikes and a superkick by Bandido. Ghetto Blaster by Keith! Back to back.. we have a duel! Double running boots to the face! Crowd is insane! Keith runs into a tilt a whirl GTS-like maneuver. 21 Plex! One, two, three!
Winner: Bandido
Rating: ***1/2. Yeah, this was awesome. Bandido being back is GREAT for AEW, and this crowd loved every second of this match.
Powerhouse Hobbs challenges Bill to a fight on Wednesday.
Match #3. LFI vs. Ares Alexander, Jay Alexander, and Brick Savage
Pop up Samoan drop to Ares. Springboard Codebreaker by Dralistico. Bull’s Horns.
Winners: LFI
Rating: NR
Komander is here with a springboard poisonrana to Mortos! The numbers are too much though and Komander is on the receiving end of a beat down.
Lights go out.
Hologram is back! Cool video package that ends with “Upgrade Complete” as Hologram hits the ring and disposes of LFI! Double planchas by Holgoram and Komander and Rush is upset, so he destroys some referees.
Lexy Nair wants a name with Megan Bayne but she gets nothing. Thunder Rosa tries to welcome Bayne, but she gets the cold shoulder too.
Harley Cameron is here for the Harley halftime show. Harley has a Mone Train song, but Mercedes is here. Mercedes says Harley is a loser, but Harley says she’s a legend. Harley then sings another song and says Mercedes is afraid to feel the wrath.. and the fans are loving it. Mercedes cuts her off and Harley cracks her with the microphone! Mercedes says… ya know what? Harley has the match next week.
Okada is late for his face-to-face with Buddy Matthews. Matthews knows what the real Okada is about. But does Okada know what Matthews is about? Matthews wants Okada in Brisbane, and Okada says, you got it… bitch.
Match #4. Dustin Rhodes vs. Izzy James
Cross Rhodes. Final Curtain. Finito.
Winner: Dustin Rhodes

Dustin has a mic. MJF ain’t the devil. Dustin went to hell, met the devil, and kicked his teeth in. Dustin crawled his way out. After five decades, Dustin is still here. Next week, it’s Dustin vs. MJF in Austin.
Match #5. Penelope Ford vs. Thunder Rosa
Arm drags by Thunder and a running forearm in the corner Sliding lariat for a two count. Ford runs into a boot in the corner as Thunder goes up top. Ford elbows her off the top and to the apron, where she connects with a pair of knees before our commercial break. Back with some heavy right hands from Thunder and a big running clothesline. Two. Ford sits on the bottom rope and Thunder comes off with a running dropkick. Northern Light’s suplex gets two. Ford comes back with a handspring cartwheel elbow in the corner. Big boot by Ford. Moonsault by Ford misses! Drop toe hold by Ford lands Thunder on the middle rope. Running dropkick to the back. Two count. Thunder comes back with a shotgun dropkick to the face. Cutter by Ford gets two. Fireman’s carry by Ford but Thunder escapes out the back and finishes this with the Tijuana Bomb.
Winner: Thunder Rosa
Rating: **1/2. Nice showing by Ford, who’s having her first singles match of the year, but a good win by Thunder.
After the match, Megan Bayne’s music hits and she makes her way to the ring. Ford quickly attacks Thunder from behind, allowing Bayne to hit Rosa with the F-5.
Match #6. Mariah May vs. Che Carmichael
Clothesline. Mayday. Done.
Winner: Mariah May
Rating: NR
May now covers Carmichael’s face in lipstick… but here’s Luther! May spits in his face and goes back to Carmichael, but she’s been replaced with Toni Storm! Storm gets a few right hands in as May retreats through the crowd.
A camera crew is in the back with Lance Archer and Brian Cage, as they destroy Private Party. Mark Davis is berated by Brian Cage, who tells him he needs to get his hands dirty now. EVERYBODY DIES.
Match #7. Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
Briscoe won their first meeting in the Continental Classic, so let’s see what we’ve got here. Fletcher starts with some chops but gets dumped over the top and Briscoe follows with a flipping suicide dive to the floor! Briscoe elbows Fletcher off the top and to the floor, following up with a spicy dropkick. Briscoe tries a Blockbuster off the apron but Fletcher catches him and lawn darts him into the ring post. Briscoe is busted open and he gets powerbombed on the apron for good measure. Commercial time. Fletcher is booting a bloody Briscoe in the face in the corner, but Briscoe fires up! Briscoe runs into a boot but he doesn’t care and both guys hit the ropes before the absolute hardest double clothesline I’ve ever seen. Running lariat by Briscoe and a clotheslin in the corner. Hand and arm Taz plex by Briscoe! Briscoe gets back body dropped and DDT’d over the middle rope. Power Drive knee by Fletcher! Double under hook double clutch Tiger Bomb! Long two count. Running boot int he corner by Fletcher and a brainbuster attempt, but Briscoe counters into a Fisherman’s Buster! Two count. Briscoe goes up top but eats a boot to the face. Briscoe thinks about the Cutthroat Driver but Fletcher grabs the referee’s eyes by accident. Low blow by Fletcher. Sheer drop brainbuster! Two count only! Half-and-half supelx but Briscoe is up! a second one, and he’s barely holding on. Third one, and Briscoe can barely get up, but does. Briscoe rolls to the apron and Fletcher rolls to the far side, causing Fletcher to hit the ground. Diving Froggy Bow off the top puts a standing Fletcher through the table! Back in the ring… another Froggy Bow! Briscoe sets Fletcher up on the top rope, looking for the Cutthroat Driver again, but Fletcher holds on. Briscoe things about a top rope Jay Driller, but Fletcher gets free and connects with a pair of running kicks to the face. Turnbuckle brainbuster! One, two, three!
Winner: Kyle Fletcher
Rating: ***3/4. Two of my personal favorites right now, and for good reason. These guys delivered in the main event and Fletcher is ready for his tag match next week!
Final Thoughts: Man, this was a weird show. Three enhancement matches, but the fans were absolutely electric the entire time. The opener was a lot of fun, and hopefully we get some new trios champions out of it. The main event delivered, as both guys always do, and closed out a show for a very hot crowd. Harley Cameron i a star, the Mariah May/Toni Storm feud is great… good stuff here tonight. 8.0/10Â
