It’s Saturday, and you know what that means …
All Elite Wrestling is back tonight from The Palms in Las Vegas, NV., for the August 15, 2026 episode of AEW Collision at 8/7c on TNT and HBO Max.
The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Lee Johnson & Jay Lethal) v. “Hangman” Adam Page, Brody King & Bandido for the AEW World Trios Championship
Page gave Johnson a fallaway slam, then dropkicked Lethal and hit a standing moonsault on Johnson on the rebound for a near fall. Bandido hit Johnson with a slingshot senton. King teased the same thing, but Johnson rolled out of the way. So King hit him with a regular old senton instead.
The heels got Bandido in the corner, and Lethal teased tearing off his mask. Bandido reversed a tilt-a-whirl slam into a rana. Johnson tagged in, hung Bandido up in the turnbuckle for he and Christian to hit with kicks. Page tried to save and wound up on the floor.
After a commercial, Bandido caught Lethal with a forearm and a tornio. Brody King got the tag and was a house of fire on his three opponents. King squashed all three of them with an avalanche in the corner and a cannonball. Page caught Johnson with a springboard lariat, then followed up with a plancha to the floor.
On the floor, Page whipped Lethal into the ring barricade. The champions whipped all the challengers into the ring barricade, and King sandwiched Johnson and Christian with an body block in the barricade. Page came off the top of the first row of the stands with a moonsault onto Christian and Johnson.
Back in the ring, Page hit Johnson with a top rope moonsault for a near fall. The Lethal Twist managed a comeback. Johnson came off the top with a frog splash on King, and Christian followed up with a 450 splash on King. Johnson and Christian tried for a double team, but Johnson wound up eating a Buckshot Lariat.
Page and Bandido slung Johnson into King’s arms, and while Page and Bandido took out the other members of the Twist with stereo dives, King dropped Johnson with a piledriver for the pinfall.
Match Result: Adam Page, Bandido & Brody King retained the Trios titles when King pinned Johnson (9:46 aired).
After the match, Ricochet distracted the champs so the Gates of Agony could jump them. Lethal Twist helped out and the 5-on-3 odds overwhelmed the campions. The Gates gave Page their elevated powerbomb finisher.
— Don Callis did some math with Lexi Nair and proved there’s a 100% chance a member of the Don Callis family advances in the Continental Cup tonight. Brian Cage and Hechicero shook hands, and Callis told Lance Archer nobody dies tonight.
Brian Cage v. Hechicero in a First Round match of the Continental Challenge Cup
Renee Paquette did a pre-taped bit giving Cage the advantage because he won a body building contest in Nevada. Somewhere someone is saying the marquee says wrestling, not body building.
Hechicero caught Cage with a dropkick to Cage’s knee, then hit a DDT for a near fall. Hechicero attacked Cage’s left arm and chopped him in the corner. Cage dropped Hechicero with a Death Valley Driver. Cage did his awesome suplex where he stood on the middle rope and suplexed Hechicero (who was standing on the apron) back into the ring.
After a commercial, Cage maneuvered Hechicero into a draping DDT for a near fall. Cage went for a pump handle, but Hechicero turned that into a leg submission attempt. Hechciero caught Cage with a knee, but Cage came out with a discus lariat and both guys were down.
Cage hit a superkick and went for a drill claw, but Hechicero escaped and hit a head scissors driver for a near fall. Hechicero rolled up Cage in a cradle and held him down for a three count, kind of out of nowhere.
Match Result: Hechicero advanced over Brian Cage via pinfall in the Continental Challenge Cup (6:49 aired).
— Darby Allin gave a promo in a train yard. Allin promised that from now until Wembley, he won’t sneak attack Kevin Knight because he wants to face the best Kevin Knight at Wembley. But at Wembley, Allin will beat Knight within an inch of his life.
— The Rascalz hung out in a smokey back room. Lio Rush set the Rascalz up for a match so Rush could make some friends tonight. It’s fine.
Divine Dominion v. Rechelle Riverter & Mazzerati
Bayne suplexed one of their opponents, then Kross suplexed the other one on top of her. Divine Intervention finished the match.
Match Result: Divine Dominion won via pinfall (2:19).
After the match, the Brawling Birds ran in and attacked the champions as payback for last week. The Birds were about to throw Bayne though a table, but Lena Kross made the a save.
— Renee Paquette interviewed Zayda Steel about her upcoming match with Mercedes Moné, and of course Moné showed up and was a jerk about it.
Nigel McGuinness v. Katsuyori Shibata in a First Round match of the Continental Challenge Cup
The first few minutes was some pretty clean mat wrestling, until McGuinness hit Shibata with a cheap shot in the ropes. Shibata caught McGuinness with a chop to the back. McGuinness responded by snapmaring Shibata into the ropes.
After a break, Shibata caught McGuinness in a guillotine. McGuinness escaped with a snap suplex. McGuinness tried for a side headlock, but Shibata escaped and locked in a sleeper. Shibata dropped down and wrapped him up in a body scissors. Nigel escaped by applying pressure to Shibata’s ankles.
Nigel backed Shibata in the corner and hit him with a double chop to the throat. He went for the Tower of London, but Shibata countered and locked in a sleeper again. Shibata released the hold to go for a punt, but Nigel countered by hitting Shibata with a kick to the ankle. Nigel grabbed an ankle lock, then tied up Shibata’s legs. Nigel missed a rebound lariat and Shibata hit the punt kick, but Shibata hurt his own leg in the process.
Shibata tried for a cross arm breaker, but Nigel countered with a pin attempt. Nigel went after Shibata with strikes, Shibata came back with his own strikes and went back to the sleeper. Nigel collapsed back, but then rolled into the Bret Hart/Roddy Piper WrestleMania 8 and got the victory.
Match Result: Nigel McGuinness advanced over Shibata in the Continental Challenge Cup via pinfall (9:48 aired).
— Renee Paquette asked Will Ospreay about finding two partners for Dynamite Wednesday. Ospreay is going to call some friends in Japan. He’s most nervous about asking Callum Newman for help.
Lio Rush & The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed & Dezmond Xavier) v. Jeaux Braxton, Frescomatic, Watson & Ice Williams
Lio Rush wore a rainbow umbrella hat to the ring. Rush hit all four of his opponents on the floor with a dive. Rush used one of his opponents as a springboard to dive onto another one and bite him. Rush bit another opponent in the hand so his partners could then superkick him.
A senton, a 450, and a tornio from the Rascalz set up Rush to get a submission with a bridging chinlock.
Match Result: Lio Rush & The Rascalz won via tap out (2:22).
This led right into our next match, with Lio Rush having a brief staredown with Bobby Lashley as they made their way out.
Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty (w/the rest of Shane Taylor Promotions and MVP) v. Sonico, Juli Montaña, Ro Montaño & Jake Redondo
Lashley speared one of the enhancement guys on the floor. Benjamin suplexed another one, who fell to the floor and got speared by Lashley. The Hurt Business left after a minute, so Lee Moriarty and Shane Taylor finished the job. Taylor killed Redondo dead with a package piledriver.
Match Result: Lashley, Benjamin, Taylor & Moriarty won when Taylor pinned Redondo (2:07).
— Tommaso Ciampa declared he’d be in the Casino Guantlet at All In.
Zayda Steel (w/ Christopher Daniels) v. Mercedes Moné
Hopefully since it’s prepped we won’t hear anyone call Moné “Sasha.” And in fact the crowd chanted “CEO!” for Moné.
Steel tried working a side headlock, but Moné shugged her off. Steel evaded an attack from Moné and hit her with a modified Codebeaker for a near fall. Moné countered a tijeras with a lung blower, then mounted Steel and threw some fists.
Moné caught Steel with a dropkick as the show went to a commercial.
Steel escaped a chinlock with a stunner, then caught Moné with a Thesz Press. Steel charged into the corner with a body block. Steel came off the top with a crossbody for a near fall.
Steel went for an Unprettier, but Moné countered that with a Backstabber, then hit the Moné Maker into the Statement Maker and Steel tapped.
Match Result: Mercedes Moné defeated Zayda Steel via tap-out (5:11 aired).
After the match, Moné hit Daniels with the Owen Hart belt, then whipped Steel with the belt into Willow Nightingale ran her off. Nightingale grabbed the mic and challenged Moné to fight “right now!” But of course, Moné ran off. “Hey Mercedes! I’m still smiling, b!tch!”
—After Dynamite Wednesday, a bloody Jack Perry was in a stairwell, confident that he will be AEW World Champion. Perry said he needs to face everyone who has been World Champion: Samoa Joe, Kenny Omega, Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, who just happened to be in the stairwell with him. Strickland doesn’t think Perry is at that level yet, but Perry disagreed and that’s probably a match for Dynamite.
— Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks challenged three members of the Don Callis Family for “next week” which meant Dynamite. Cage and Cope don’t understand why The Young Bucks would be in a six man match when they have the champs at Wembly? The Young Bucks aren’t so worried about Cage and Cope since they’re old enough to be their father. “Who says I’m not,” quipped Christian.
Kyle O’Reilly v. Roderick Strong in a First Round match of the Continental Challenge Cup
During this match, it was announced that Nigel McGuinness suffered an injury even though he won his match, and more information will be given during the YouTube selection program on Monday.
The match started with Strong and O’Reilly exchanging chops and kicks. Strong escaped a face lock with an inverted backbreaker. Strong hit a vertical suplex for a near fall, then went to a chinlock. O’Reilly fought out of the chinlock. O’Reilly went for a knee strike, but Strong dumped him over the top rope. O’Reilly went for a knee off the apron, but Strong caught him and dumped him back-first on the ring barricade.
After a commercial, Strong caught O’Reilly with another backbreaker, but collapsed under his injured ankle. O’Reilly caught Strong with a knee, then followed up with kicks. O’Reilly caught Strong in a hammerlock and body scissors, then went into a guillotine, then transitioned into an ankle lock. Strong rolled to the floor to regroup, and O’Reilly followed with a running knee off the apron.
Back in the ring, Strong crotched O’Reilly on the turnbuckle, then gave O’Reilly a backbreaker onto the top turn buckle. O’Reilly came back with a clothesline and a brainbuster for a near fall. O’Reilly tried for a cross-arm breaker, but Strong blocked it. Strong tried to roll O’Reilly into a cradle to escape.
They exchanged more strikes, and Strong put O’Reilly down with a flying kick. They exchanged forearms. Strong and O’Reilly kept trying for a suplex, but they each kept countering the other until finally O’Reilly shifted it into a cradle and got the pinfall.
Match Result: O’Reilly pinned Strong (9:53 aired).
After the match, Strong shoved O’Reilly down in the heat of the moment, but then helped his friend up and they hugged. Orange Cassidy met up with his fellow Conglomerators to end the show.
