AEW Dynamite Viewership and Key Demo Rating for the Winter Is Coming Go-Home Show

AEW Dynamite Viewership and Key Demo Rating for the Winter Is Coming Go-Home Show

Wednesday’s live edition of AEW Dynamite drew 840,000 viewers on TBS, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

 
  
 

This is down 3.44% from the last week’s episode, which drew 870,000 viewers.

This week’s Dynamite drew a 0.29 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is up 11.53% from last week’s 0.26 rating. This week’s 0.29 key demographic rating represents 380,000 viewers who watched the show from that 18-49 demo. This is up 10.47% from last week’s 344,000 18-49 viewers that the 0.26 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

Dynamite ranked #3 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.29 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up from last week’s #5 ranking.

Dynamite ranked #41 in viewership for the night on cable this week. This is down from last week’s #38 ranking.

Dynamite drew the fourth-lowest total audience of the year so far for a standard timeslot show, tied with one other episode. Dynamite also drew the third-lowest key demo rating of the year so far for a standard airing, tied with one other episode. Sports competition last night included two NHL games on TNT, two NBA games on ESPN, one B1G Men’s Basketball game on the BIG Ten Network, one College Basketball game on ESPN2, one College Basketball game on ESPNU, and one Women’s College Basketball game on ESPN2. Wednesday’s Dynamite viewership was down 3.44% from last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 11.53% from last week.

This week’s Dynamite viewership was down 3.66% from the same week in 2021. The key demo rating was down 12.12% from the previous year.

The NBA game between the Celtics and the Suns on ESPN at 10:06pm topped the night in the 18-49 demographic on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.45 rating, also drawing 1.215 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.253 million viewers, also drawing a 0.20 key demo rating for the #9 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Chicago Fire on NBC topped the night on broadcast TV in viewership with an average of 6.845 million viewers, also drawing a 0.64 key demo rating. Survivor on CBS topped the night on broadcast TV in the 18-49 key demo with a 0.71 rating, also drawing 5.341 million viewers.

Wednesday’s live edition of AEW Dynamite aired from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, IN, and featured several happenings advertised ahead of time – Ricky Starks vs. Ari Daivari, a promo from Jon Moxley, a promo from AEW World Champion MJF, ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe defending his AEW TNT Title against AR Fox, Anna Jay vs. Willow Nightingale, the AEW TBS Title Celebration for champion Jade Cargill, Bryan Danielson vs. IWGP, AAA & ROH World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood, plus AEW World Trios Champions Death Triangle (2-0) vs. The Elite in Match 3 of their Best Of 7 Series, which was the main event.
