A former WWE and AEW star appears to be getting teased for an upcoming PROGRESS Wrestling event.
PROGRESS will hold its When September Ends event on Sunday, September 27 at the Camden Ballroom in London, England. Ahead of the show, new company owner Big Damo — formerly known as Killian Dain in WWE — dropped a hint regarding a potential appearance.
Damo took to X to quote-tweet a post promoting the event, writing, “there’s a hint in the show title…I would really recommend you nab your tickets soon.”
The tease has led to speculation that Damo is referring to Tommy End, better known to WWE and AEW fans as Aleister Black and Malakai Black, respectively.
Black has already been announced for PROGRESS’ upcoming Odyssey Tour under the Malakai Black name. However, Damo’s reference to the “When September Ends” show title seemingly points toward the Tommy End moniker he used prior to signing with WWE.
Following his WWE departure in April, Black wrestled his first match back on the independent scene for Dark Arts Gym under the Tommy End name.
It remains unclear whether he intends to use Tommy End regularly moving forward or if the name was used for that appearance only. For now, PROGRESS has yet to officially confirm Black/End for the September 27 event.
