Former WWE Superstar Aleister Black appears to be embracing a new chapter following his departure from the company.
Tom Budgen, formerly known as Aleister Black, officially entered free agency near the end of July after his WWE release became effective alongside the rest of the company’s post-WrestleMania 42 cuts. While his next move in professional wrestling remains unknown, Budgen released a new video on Wednesday showcasing a dramatic change in appearance.
The video follows Budgen through a series of reflective moments in his daily life before ending with him sporting a fully shaved head and training in martial arts, seemingly signaling a renewed focus heading into the next phase of his career.
Along with the video, Budgen shared a brief message.
“I am the death of me,” Black wrote in the caption.
Black’s April release brought an end to his second run with WWE. Between his two stints with the company, he competed in AEW under the name Malakai Black. He has also updated his Instagram profile, changing his handle to his real name while listing his former independent wrestling name, Tommy End, in his bio.
Budgen’s wife, former WWE Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega, was released alongside him. She has since begun using the name Xelina following her departure from WWE.
