Paige is coming back to WWE SmackDown next week, and it appears she has some unfinished business with Nikki Bella.
At WWE SummerSlam, Paige joined forces with Nikki and Brie Bella for a six-woman tag-team match against Fatal Influence members Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Paige took the loss for her team, only to be attacked by The Bella Twins afterward as Nikki and Brie turned heel.
Nikki addressed the betrayal during the August 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, blaming Paige for costing The Bella Twins the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships before pointing to their SummerSlam loss as the final straw. Nikki also vowed to make Paige’s life miserable going forward.
Paige has since fired back on social media while confirming that she will be on next week’s show.
“I saved your ass from getting pinned twice at SummerSlam,” Paige wrote via X. “I’m also the one who WON those championships.”
She wasn’t done there.
“I’ll be back next week,” Paige added. “You haven’t seen anything yet babe.”
The appearance will mark Paige’s first time back on WWE television since being attacked by The Bella Twins at SummerSlam.
Also advertised for next week’s blue brand prime time Friday night program are three championship contests, with Chelsea Green vs. Jacy Jayne for the Women’s U.S title, Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes for the Men’s U.S. title, as well as Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. The War Raiders vs. The MFTs for the WWE World Tag-Team titles.
