I had a few emails in the aftermath of my 2012 Pro Wrestling Predictions, I had a few readers asking me about making non-wrestling predictions, such as economic ones. Here at MRTITO.com, I am to please...

Mr. Tito's NON-Wrestling Predictions

Barack Obama wins the 2012 Election, but the House/Senate go Republican. - For 2012, chances are very likely that Barack Obama will raise and spend $1 Billion for 2012. For the 2008 election, he opted out of the public campaign fun system and it gave him ultimate flexibility to raise private funds. The Supreme Court decision Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission from January 2010 will line Obama's pockets considerably more. Sure, the Republican Party also benefits from this ruling, but Obama is a proven fundraiser and is well liked by Democrats.

I also think that when Mitt Romney is the Republican Primary winner (another prediction), Obama will paint him up as not only a flip flopper, but he will use Class Warfare to its most intense degree. He'll paint up Mitt Romney as a Wall Street Executive OR he'll paint him up to look like your boss. Romney has an incredible net worth as a private individual, reportedly north above $200 million. Considering a big part of Romney's success as a business man was helping firms Merge or Acquire other firms, Obama's campaign will tear Romney apart.

Plus, lots of anti-Mormon sentiment will be funneled into the mainstream media.

BUT - Locally, I think the Democrat Senate seats are at risk and could be overturned in many Red or Bellweather states where a Democrat Senator is up for election in 2012. I believe that the House of Representatives are safe to remain with the GOP, but they'll lose seats. Thus, to start 2013, we'll have a Democrat President and a full GOP Congress... I'm fine with that, if I have to accept it.

--------------------------

Gas Prices will push $5.00 for the first time nationally. - Nationally, we've flirted with being somewhat above $4.00, but for just a brief while (Summer 2008 and Summer 2011). However, inflationary pressure from a very "loose" Federal Reserve are on the rise and I believe there are a few Supply factors screwing with things. Our outright refusal to reduce our Middle East dependence will harm us, as Iran, I believe, will cause some trouble for 2012. They are already threatening to block a waterway that Oil typically transports through.

Federal Reserve's absurd money printing combined with enabling the Federal Government to spend excessively as well as cushioning the "Too Big To Fail" banks for their bad behavior will inflate the living crap out of our Dollar. By Summertime, I expect a combination of Currency and Supply induced higher energy prices.

-------------------------

Green Bay Packers will become the 1st 3-Peat Team in NFL Superbowl History - Of course, this is a 2012-2014 Prediction. Aaron Rodgers is too dominant of a QB and his offense is loaded enough to make any game that Green Bay plays as a "track meet". Their defense has been a bit banged up in 2011, but their defense is well coached by Dom Capers. As long as that system is in place with Capers, they'll reload the player mix for 2012. If the Packers can go 14-1 (playing 16th game today) with a banged up defense, they can destroy anyone with a stronger defense in 2012.

That, and many other teams have rebuilding needs.

---------------------------

The Dark Knight Rises will do well, but not defeat Dark Knight. - Even with inflated ticket prices since 2008 and from a probable successful film release, Dark Knight Rises won't top the Dark Knight's $530 million American number. One needs to consider how difficult it is to break $400 million, let alone $500 million.

That, and I believe that Heath Ledger's death put this movie over-the-top. His fascinating performance as the Joker drew additional audiences in other than comic book fans, as I don't quite see that kind of draw happening with Catwoman and Bane.

----------------------------

Miami Heat will win the NBA Title - The NEW HEAT ORDER will win the NBA Championship for 2011-2012 mostly because the other NBA teams have regressed (except for the NY Knicks) and I don't believe there is a team now in the Western Conference who could defeat this trio. That, and Lebron James legitimately worked on his game during the off-season.

Quietly, too, the addition of Shane Battier and maybe even Eddie Curry (if both can remain healthy) will give the Heat some depth off the bench that they lacked in 2010-2011. I see Mario Chalmers continually improving at the point.

----------------------------

Stocks end 2012 DOWN. - For 2011, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up while the NASDAQ (techs and banks) and S&P 500 (top 500 U.S. Companies) were both down. I see Europe as being very explosive in 2012 with Italy and Spain's economies exploding due to excessive debt in their system, both financial industry and governmental. I also think that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is too dependent on "loose" Federal Reserve policy, which in other words, the Dow is highly inflated right now.

----------------------------

Madonna will successfully make a huge comeback in 2012. - Many mock her for being "old" and laugh that the NFL has given her the Superbowl Halftime show spot. Few realize how incredibly talented Madonna actually is. In recent times, she's purposely kept herself out of the spotlight and I believe she's done this to reassess her career. She did the same exact thing after having kids during the late 1990's and then she put out Ray of Light.

I believe that the Superbowl performance will be HUGE and prove how Madonna is the Female Elvis of the music industry. She's a strong live performer, to be exact, and I believe this will catapult her back on the radio with her older stuff and help promote a new album and tour that will be huge in 2012.

I also believe that Lady Gaga stealing her act sets the stage for the "real deal" to come back and take her throne. Consequently, I predict a BAD year for Lady Gaga as proven by the weaker success of her recent album. And damn, Gaga was awful last night on Dick Clark's New Year's Eve ABC show!

----------------------------

Mayan Calendar Prediction Proves false for 2012, but some idiot will try something. - December 21st, 2012 will come and go, but I don't expect the "end of the world". Something predicted THOUSANDS of years ago won't come true today. Now, that won't stop some idiot group of radicals from trying to cash in on a day that everybody fears ahead of time, 12/21/12, but as far as something galatic or the Earth exploding from within.

Not happening... Maybe an Economic disaster should Europe explode and its aftermath comes overseas... Yeah, maybe the Mayans were right...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So just chill... Till the next episode!
