-------------------- I can say definitely that as of 10:45pm this evening, the RAW ratings for the 1/2/12 broadcast are no where to be found. I usually perform Google searches, News site scans, and then I go to Zap2it.com for ratings updates. But what I can tell you is that I've completely under-estimated how strong BCS College Football would be. The Rose Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl, both back-to-back on ESPN and very close games, were up from 2011's games' viewership. The Fiesta Bowl, which went head-to-head with the WWE, increased their ratings from a 6.7 rating last year to 9.0 (34% increase) according to Zap2It.com. Still -- The rating is BELOW last week's Monday Night Football last week... Monday, January 2nd, was an "observed" federal holiday and for whatever reason, that often translates into a LATE reported RAW Rating. I have no idea why, as the Nielsen folks aren't a government wing the last time I checked... I'm guessing 3.0 on the rating, which a main event dropoff in the second hour. CONTACT MR.
