The RAW ratings are in and we're stuck at 2.9. On the contrary, Monday Night Football was down from having 16.7 million viewers to 15.6 million. However, the Saints/Falcons number is still high and is up there with the best rated games of the season. After all, who wouldn't want to see Drew Brees break the historical single-season yardage record on LIVE television?

We'll get the ratings breakdown tomorrow, I'm assuming, and that will be truly telling.

It sickened me to see the WWE micro-managing their show this week. They are convinced that John Cena is a huge television draw while purposely putting Zack Ryder and CM Punk in weaker rated spots to fail. How the WWE's downslide is being blamed on Punk/Ryder, I'll never know. I guess the WWE didn't see the ratings/buyrates beginning to slide in 2010 when John Cena, himself, was headlining all of those shows. In fact, Cena headlines many of the WORST bought Pay Per Views of all time.

And still no blame towards John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for being a weak draw to help cause Vengeance 2011 to be the 2nd worst bought Pay Per View in the WWE's history. That AMAZES ME, as many WWF In Your Houses were absolute turds during 1995-1996.

But it's the stars who have only emerged recently who are at fault... The freakin' Rock only added 16,000 new buyers to Survivor Series 2011 versus last year.

Headline the shows with John Cena, SAME RESULT... 2.9 rating.

With this week's RAW being the 1st of 2011, don't be surprised if the WWE hotshots some Title Belts. I would possibly put money on Dolph Ziggler winning even though he's no where near the draw that should carry a World Title. Why does he still have Vickie Guerrero around him to help draw in heat?

Don't doubt that Triple H will ride that white horse in and save the day!

RAW could be an absolute trainwreck, especially given the injuries (or whatever is really happening, I don't know) affecting the roster. WWE might need Chris Jericho or other veterans as soon as possible.
