--------------------

For the lovely Tuesday evening, I was stumped on a topic for the "Excellence in Column Writing" for this evening known as Tito Daily. I was following the Florida GOP Primaries and then I was stunned by the RAW 3.6 rating... The writer's block set in.

And then, on Twitter, all hell broke loose. I received a question from @MrShadanTweetin that asked: What are your thoughts on Taker vs. HHH 2? Seems to be garnering a lot of negative reactions?

To which I answered, and probably didn't think about before clicking "Tweet":

@titowrestling

Those who don't want Triple H vs. Underatker at Wrestlemania are idiots. The prospect of another 5-star match...

I'm an idiot for using the word "idiots". I, here at the "Excellence in Column Writing" wing at LordsofPain.net, can do better than. It is my opinion that Triple H vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemanias have been GREAT and how could anyone not want that? But, I own up to my responsibilities my any audience that reads my stuff and I apologize for the choice of words...

That being said, HOW COULD YOU NOT WANT TRIPLE H vs. UNDERTAKER AT WRESTLEMANIA 28?!?

Last year's match was a 5-Star epic classic! Did you not hear those Georgia Dome fans at Wrestlemania 27 last year going bonkers? Many criticize it for being too heavy on the brawling and not enough on the technical wrestling... Maybe the overuse of finishers. Meh. To me, it was two wrestlers on the Wrestlemania-era "Mount Rushmore" going at it with a real sense of urgency of the Undertaker's streak on the line. Better yet, two 40+ veterans gave everything they had that day and I believe it has taken the Undertaker legitimate time to recover from Wrestlemania 27.

And now we're afforded a rematch? It's a gift! Both guys proved last year that they can still go, at least for one match a year (and Wrestlemania is all that matters anymore).

What would you like instead? Would you like for a younger wrestler to LOSE to the Undertaker? Do you really think that a losing effort to the Undertaker, as he's not losing at Wrestlemania ever, would really boost someone's career? Go look back in the Undertaker's Wrestlemania matches... Who has really benefitted from losing to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? Maybe Orton/Edge/Batista? I don't know...

The only person I ever see "worthy" of pinning the Undertaker at Wrestlemania is Shawn Michaels. That's it. He gave Undertaker his heart and soul at Wrestlemanias 25 and 26 with back-to-back "Match of the Year" Award winners and I believe that he's given enough to the WWE for the past 20 years to be afforded the gift of ending the Undertaker's streak. Otherwise, I don't see anybody on the current roster even worthy of defeating the Undertaker and ending the streak...

Well, other than Kane who has been the Undertaker's punching bag for 15 years now...

It's a GREAT match and how could you turn it down? So it's not for you, the younger fans who might like the new up-tempo style that Ring of Honor pushes or maybe seeing two larger wrestlers work the WWE Main Event style doesn't "do it" for you. That's fine... Wrestlemania is FOUR HOURS LONG and you can make a beer run for those 25 minutes or so of a match. That's a good time to order another pizza as well... See, Wrestlemania can be for everybody.

Sign me up and I'll sign up multiple times if Shawn Michaels is added to the match (and not as a referee).

Go watch Wrestlemania 27 and listen to that beautiful crowd reaction... WWE is giving fans, the majority, what they want...
