Let me just say that from Last Week's Unsolved Mysteries FIX, the email reception has been impressive from many Unsolved Mysteries hardcore fans like myself. I welcome you to MRTITO.com and encourage you to bookmark this fine site. Every Wednesday, I'll hook you up with an Unsolved Mysteries FIX.

Today's FIX is the famous case of D.B. Cooper who in 1971, got away with hijacking a jet airline and extorted $200,000 by threatening flight attendants with a bomb over the Northwestern region (Washington/Oregon area). The most incredible part of this "mystery", however, was his bold attempt to parachute out of a 727 Boeing. His body was never found and none of the dollars from the $200,000 extorted was ever spent. In 1980, several stacks of the randsom cash was found on riverside... Yet, a body was never found nor has an arrest ever been made:





UPDATE: A niece of a person named "L.D. Cooper" claimed that her uncle was, in fact, DB Cooper, citing what she overheard from her uncle and also his beat-up appearance the day after the hijacking, but the investigation continues...
