--------------------

When I was growing up during the 1980's, my favorite television show was easily Unsolved Mysteries. I was completely fascinated by that show as it scared you with ghosts and terrifying murder stories, puzzled you with missing persons or the unknown, and gave you a healthy fix of UFO's and conspiracy theories. That, and it was hosted by one of the best voices ever produced, Robert Stack.

The show was usually divided up into 4-5 mystery segments within a 1 hour block on 8pm on NBC on Wednesdays... With the show normally being on Wednesdays from my memory, from here on out on MRTITO.com on Wednesdays, a weekly Unsolved Mysteries FIX will be posted.

This week's FIX is easily one of the most mysterious ones I've ever seen. Called "Circleville Letters" by most publications, this story talks about a string of threatening letters being sent around the city of Circleville, OH. The letters seem to be centered around a few members of the local school district and anger from one individual rumors regarding those school employees. Just hearing the contents of the letters is messed up!

And then, the husband of one of the persons getting taunted by the letters gets killed and then a rigged up contraption with a handgun behind a sign that put possibily an innocent person in jail. Make sense? It's still baffling to me to this day!

^ Great video quality of this YouTube.com video, as most Unsolved Mysteries posted there are ripped from VHS tape. Rare to find a 20 minute continuous segment, too, with YouTube's 10 minute limit enforcement.

As for this case, with this segment originally airing in 1994... Has it been solved? According to Wikia.com's Unsolved Mysteries section, this remains an "Unsolved Mystery".

So just chill... Till the next episode!
