WWE RAW Supershow Results 4/2/12

- Tonight's WWE RAW Supershow opens up with the entire roster gathered backstage in a room. John Laurinaitis addresses the group after winning control of RAW and SmackDown. He announces Santino Marella vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger in a triple threat with the United States Title on the line. CM Punk speaks up and comes walking in. The WWE Champion speaks for the fans and most everyone in the room when he says he's still a Johnny toolbox. Punk says he wasn't joking. Laurinaitis announces Punk vs. Mark Henry for tonight with the WWE Title on the line.

Laurinaitis says that's giving the fans what they want and welcomes everyone to an era. Tonight's it's people power. We go to the RAW opening video.

- We're live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida as Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW.

- We go right to the ring and out comes The Rock to a massive pop from the crowd.

Rock hits the ring and the crowd chants "boots to asses." The Rock talks about the Road to WrestleMania 28 and then defeating John Cena. Rock thanks Cena and the crowd boo's. Rock says Cena brought it like never before. Rock talks about Cena hitting all his big moves and the STF last night. Rock goes on and thanks the millions. Rock says he stands here as our People's Champion and the crowd chants again.

Rock says this isn't the end. He guarandamntees that this is just the beginning. The Rock says he had a vision and nothing is impossible. Rock asks if they want to hear his vision and the crowd goes crazy again. The Rock says he will walk down the aisle again and become WWE Champion. The crowd goes nuts at the sound of this. Rock hugs a girl at ringside and heads up the ramp as the crowd cheers.

WWE United States Title Match: Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Santino Marella

We go to the ring and out comes the WWE United States Champion Santino Marella before they go to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes Vickie Guerrero to introduce Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Santino avoids Ziggler and Swagger to start the match but Swagger gets him in the corner and they double team. Swagger works Santino over and does pushups on his back. Santino fights back on both men. He dumps Ziggler on the floor but turns around to a tackle from Swagger. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Santino is getting double teamed. He goes for the Cobra but gets knocked back down. It looks like they botch a double team move and Ziggler lands on Santino's neck with a leg drop. 2 count for Ziggler. Swagger and Ziggler argue now. Swagger drops Ziggler with a belly to belly suplex. Swagger goes for the Swagger Bomb but Santino puts his knees up. Ziggler dropkicks Swagger. Santino counters Ziggler and catapults him into the corner. Ziggler rolls to the floor as Santino hits the Cobra on Swagger for the win.

Winner: Santino Marella

- After the match, Santino hurries up the ramp as Swagger and Ziggler follow. Brodus Clay comes out and faces off with them. Ziggler charges but Clay hits him in mid-air with a big headbutt. Swagger bucks up but he doesn't attack. The music hits, the dancers come out and Santino dances with Brodus as Vickie tends to Ziggler on the ramp.

Lord Tensai vs. Alex Riley

Back from the break and Sakamoto comes out first and throws salt in the air. Out next comes Lord Tensai. The former A-Train heads to the ring as Alex Riley waits in the ring. Michael Cole says this man is a former WWE star who went to Japan and became a Superstar there. Lawler hypes up how tough it is in Japan. Sakamoto takes Tensai's robe off. Tensai pulls his headgear off and we clearly see Matt Bloom.

Tensai drops Riley with an elbow to the jaw. The crowd chants A-Train. Tensai takes Riley to the corner and beats him up slowly. Tensai throws Riley hard into the opposite corner and he goes down. Tensai with a series of headbutts in the corner now. Tensai hits a big modified suplex and drops a series of elbow drops now before a big back splash.

Tensai takes Riley back to the corner and hits him with elbows to the head. Tensai picks Riley up, yells something in his face and hits a big sitdown powerbomb but doesn't hold the pin. The referee stops the match for the finish.

Winner: Lord Tensai

- After the match, Tensai spits something on his hand and grabs Riley's head. Tensai squeezes his head until he drop to the mat. We go to replays and see Tensai heading up the ramp with Sakamoto behind him.

- WWE Champion CM Punk is walking backstage as we go to commercial.

- Back from the break and we see stills from WrestleMania 28 before a John Cena video. Cena will call out The Rock later tonight.

WWE Title Match: Mark Henry vs. CM Punk

We go to the ring and out comes WWE Champion CM Punk.

Mark Henry is out next and here we go. They lock up and Henry shoves Punk to the mat. Punk fights back with kicks and chops then a pair of dropkicks. A third dropkick is blocked and Henry goes back to work on Punk's back. Henry talks trash to Punk before stomping on his back some more. Henry stands on Punk now as the referee tells him to back off.

Henry continues the assault and gets a 1 count. More trash talking from Henry. Henry takes Punk back to the corner and beats him down some more. Lots of taunting from Henry as he beats Punk around. The crowd starts to chant for Punk. Punk fights back with kicks. Henry catches him in a bear hug. Punk fights out with elbows to the head and breaks the bear hug with a DDT. Punk with a 2 count. Punk with kicks to the chest on Henry and a knee to the head. Another 2 count by Punk.

Punk comes off the top but Henry catches him again in mid-air. Henry rams Punk back into the corner. Henry goes tot he second rope for a splash but Punk stops him. The crowd has been chanting "YES!" all night. Punk makes a comeback but Henry drops him with a boot. Henry goes back to the second rope for the splash but Punk rolls out of the way. Punk springboards in from the apron but Henry knocks him out of the air. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Punk comes off the top again but once again Henry knocks him out of the air. Punk finally gets the upperhand with an onslaught of chops and shots. Henry goes down and Punk goes to the top. Punk hits the big elbow drop but is hurting. Punk hits the high knee in the corner. And another. Punk goes for the bulldog but Henry just throws him out of the ring.

Punk can't make it back in and gets counted out but retains his title.

Winner by Count Out: Mark Henry

- After the match, Henry goes out to the floor and hits a World's Strongest Slam on the floor. The crowd chants we want Lesnar. Laurinaitis comes out with David Otunga and says the fans want more competitive matches and he will give it to them. Punk will be defending more often now. Laurinaitis says he sees some dark clouds, some natural disasters in Punk's future. Chris Jericho appears at ringside and is taunting Punk on the microphone.

Jericho says they had a good match last night and it's time to celebrate with a drink. Jericho grabs a bottle of liquor and walks over to Punk, who is down on the floor still. Jericho said he promised he would be the reason Punk drinks. Jericho pulls liquor all over Punk's face. Jericho starts kicking Punk but he slips in the liquor and falls down.

Jericho goes on talking trash to Punk. He kneels down and shatters the liquor bottle on the back of Punk's head. The crowd boos as Jericho walks off to the back and officials tend to Punk. Back to commercial.

- Back from commercial and out comes the new World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Before he can speak, Alberto Del Rio's music hits and Ricardo Rodriguez comes out with an introduction. Del Rio comes driving into the arena and here they come to the ring.

Del Rio says Sheamus has a new challenger and this one doesn't hide behind a girl. Some Daniel Bryan chants in the crowd. The fans chant "si" instead of "yes" now. Sheamus says the fans want to see him Brogue Kick someone in the face. Sheamus is glad Del Rio is here because he can show the fans something they will never forget. Del Rio says he isn't looking for a fight because he already has one. Laurinaitis has given him a match on SmackDown this week. It will be Sheamus vs. Del Rio. If Del Rio wins, he earns a future World Title shot. Del Rio goes on but his mic cuts out. He turns to ringside and turns back around to a Brogue Kick from Sheamus.

- We see Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee watching backstage. Josh Mathews asks Bryan about the 18 second loss at WrestleMania 28. Bryan doesn't say anything. Mathews thanks him and we go back to break.

Cody Rhodes vs. Kofi Kingston

Back from the break and out comes Cody Rhodes followed by Kofi Kingston. The bell rings and Cody takes control early on. Kofi hits him with a boot and a crossbody from the top for 2. They go back and forth and Cody hits a Disaster kick. Big Show's music hits and out comes the new Intercontinental Champion. Show wants to show Cody something from WrestleMania. We see a video mocking Cody's WrestleMania moment last night where Show knocked him out. Cody turns around to Trouble in Paradise from Kofi for the win.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

- More hype for Cena calling out The Rock later on. Back to break.

- Back from the break and Mark Henry is pissed backstage. Former ECW personality and current FCW star Abraham Washington walks in and says it's time for Henry to make a change. Abraham wants to represent Henry. Washington hands Henry a business card and tells him to think about it.

- Eve Torres comes out to the stage to boos from the crowd. She says everyone wants to have a WrestleMania moment and she got hers last night. She says it was easy to manipulate Zack Ryder. The crowd starts chanting for Ryder. Eve says she can manipulate any man except one - John Laurinaitis. She starts sucking up.

- More hype for Cena and Rock before going to commercial.

The Miz vs. Zack Ryder

Back from the break and out comes The Miz. Out next comes Zack Ryder. The bell rings and Miz taunts Ryder. Ryder drops him and takes the fight out to the floor before bringing it back in. Ryder rolls Miz up for a 2 count. Ryder runs into an elbow drop but drops Miz with a boot. Ryder stomps away but runs into a boot from Miz.

More back and forth action or a few minutes. Miz throws Ryder into the ring post and nails the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Winner: The Miz

- Back from the break and John Cena comes out to boos from the crowd. He says he never thought about losing. Cena admits defeat and says nobody goes undefeated in life. He goes on and says people wondered if this would be the night he lashed out at the WWE Universe. A huge "you're a loser" chant breaks out. Cena says it won't happen. He's a man, he was beaten and as a man he will own up and admit defeat. Cena thanks everyone who has supported him and says this won't be his last. He points out Machine Gun Kelly in the crowd and they boo him also. Cena apologizes for letting anyone down. Cena says he will just try and be the best he can be. He wants to address the rumor mill now. The rumor that he's here to call out The Rock. Cena says he's not here for that because they settled everything last night. A huge we want Lesnar chant breaks out and Cena says it's always an interesting crowd at RAW. He says he wants The Rock and invites him out. Cena says he has respect for Rock and wants Rock to know that he considers him a champion and an inspiration. After last night, Cena considers Rock the greatest WWE Superstar "in this industry."

Cena wants to have one last celebration for Rock in Miami. Cena keeps talking and the Lesnar chants start again. Cena goes on and he's stalling. He invites The Rock out and turns his attention to the entrance. Brock Lesnar's music hits and out comes the former WWE Champion to a monster pop from the arena. The roof blows off the place as Lesnar paces around the stage.

Lesnar enters the ring where Cena claps for him. Lesnar flexes and has words with Cena. Lesnar lays Cena out with the F5 as the crowd goes nuts. Lesnar talks smack over Cena and poses in the corner as RAW goes off the air.
