Andrew is a lifelong wrestling fan whose first wrestling memory is Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat's feud over the WWF Intercontinental title. He will watch any wrestling he can get his eyes on, whether it's from classic or more contemporary promotions. He's also a big fan of Japanese puro, and was especially happy to find dedicated YouTube channels to old AJPW, Noah, and AJW matches.
He has a background in print journalism with an undergrad in political science. He's written and edited for a number of publications ranging from the Toronto Star/Star Metro, the auto sector, community-focused lifestyle magazines, comics, legal content and wrestling. He's also an avid gamer and plays both single player and online games (...and a lot of Tetris). He's currently mostly playing Street Fighter 6 and is trying to reach Master level with Cammy, Ken, Ed and Sagat.
