Royal Rumble could eventually become a two-night event.
Following the recent news that the 2027 WWE Royal Rumble is scheduled for State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, there was reportedly internal discussion within WWE about expanding the premium live event to two nights.
According to those familiar with the situation, WWE seriously considered making the 2027 Royal Rumble a two-night event, with some within the company believing that was the direction the show would ultimately take.
As of now, however, the expectation is that the Royal Rumble will remain a one-night event in 2027.
That said, there is said to be significant interest within WWE in eventually transforming the Royal Rumble into a multi-night destination event, similar to WrestleMania. If that happens, the 2027 edition could end up being the final Royal Rumble presented as a single-night show.
