Last week it was announced that AEW superstar Jon Moxley and NJPW superstar Hiroshi Tanahashi would be teaming up to face the duo of Chris Jericho and Lance Archer on tomorrow’s episode of Dynamite from Milwaukee, the final Dynamite before Moxley battles Tanahashi to determine an AEW interim world champion while CM Punk is injured.
Jericho has since taken to Instagram to hype up the matchup, and warns the Ace and the Purveyor of Violence that they are going to be smashed by him and Archer. The full post reads, “I’m looking forward to this one. Maybe I’ll spike @jonmoxley in the eye again…or throw a fireball in his face. And the last time I wrestled @hiroshi_tanahashi, we stole the show in the MAIN EVENT of the @tokyodome1988_ in 2020…and I beat him! Throw in @lance_hoyt, the #SuzukiGun and the #JerichoAppreciationSociety and I think some faces are gonna get smashed this Wednesday Night.”
Jericho will be teaming with Minoru Suzuki and Sammy Guevara at Forbidden Door against Eddie Kingston, Shota Umino, and Wheeler Yuta.
