Mike Johnson from PW Insider has released a new report revealing several backstage tidbits for both WWE and AEW. Check it out below.
-Adam Page has been spotted in Chicago ahead of this evening’s AEW Dynamite from the Wintrust Arena. He was suspected to be the mystery opponent for Jeff Jarrett in the Owen Hart tournament match. AEW did tease him a week ago, but this basically confirms it.
-Natalya is still with WWE and is currently still listed on the internal roster. There is no confirmation on whether she has re-signed as her contract is coming to an end soon, but as of this writing she’s still a member of the roster. There is some speculation that she could have signed an extension, but again, not 100% confirmed.
-Former WCW and WWE veteran David Taylor has been seen at the WWE Performance Center and backstage for several recent events. Insider speculates that he has either signed on as a coach, or is getting a tryout as a coach. Taylor previously tagged with top superstar Drew McIntyre in WWE.
-There was some speculation that if Adam Page was not the mystery opponent, it could be Ricochet or Dijak, who are official free agents. This is BY NO MEANS a confirmation on that, just that it is possible since both talents are free to wrestle wherever they want. As a reminder, Dijak was backstage at AEW Forbidden Door this past Sunday.
