-WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg appeared on today’s edition of The Bump and called out current Universal champion Roman Reigns. “He backed out on me at WrestleMania, he stole my move, God knows how long ago, and he continues to perform it at subpar levels,” Goldberg stated. “Let’s be perfectly honest, I’m the dude who delivers the Spear and I don’t think that he understands what it’s like until I deliver one to him. -IMPACT Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore took a shot at WWE on Twitter today following last night’s edition of IMPACT on AXS. D’Amore writes, “Well I enjoy watching #AEWDynamite on Wednesday’s anyway so why wouldn’t @IMPACTWRESTLING take @TonyKhan’s & @AEW’s money? Let the whole world know that after a rotten Monday night you get back 2 back nights of great action starting with #IMPACTonAXSTV every Tuesday night!” D’Amore also claimed that IMPACT’s alliance with AEW will shift the power in the pro-wrestling industry.
-AEW world champion Kenny Omega’s appearance on IMPACT certainly helped boost their viewership, as their Twitch numbers reached a new record high, with Omega’s segment hitting peak viewership.
