AEW has released a sneak-peek of the upcoming “Road To” episode on the AEW Youtube channel. In the clip, Cody Rhodes receives a call from his brother Dustin, who tells Cody that if he doesn’t defeat Kip Sabian in his qualifying matchup of the TNT championship tournament this Wednesday on Dynamite…he will retire.

Shocking clip from the next episode of “Road To”:

“If I cannot beat that son of a B***h, I will retire.” – @DustinRhodes on his TNT Championship Quarterfinal match up with @theKipSabian

Road to the TNT Championship drops this Monday, April 20th at 7/6c – https://t.co/ovL0W5rMeS pic.twitter.com/eReOzl5wVR

AEW stars would immediately respond to The Natural’s promise…including Lance Archer who warns Dustin that if he does win he would have to face him next.

You should retire @dustinrhodes because if you beat @TheKipSabian (which he shouldn’t want to win and have to face me) Then I’ll end you in a way that will be considered “cruel and unusual” NO ONE in @AEWrestling is ready! https://t.co/D3z3Wz2dn2

I have to weigh on this, I know @dustinrhodes a long time. I have had the opportunity to share lockerrooms/rings with him for years. I truly feel he’s at his best NOW. His cardio, lean muscle mass along with a clear mind…. hoping he doesn’t ride off into the sunset just yet. https://t.co/FfwwpoSQ3P

Former AEW world champion Chris Jericho would release a video announcing that he will enjoy commentating the last match of Dustin Rhodes’ career.

Looking forward to commentating the last match in the stellar career of @dustinrhodes this week on @AEWonTNT! pic.twitter.com/T7zCgeSnL2
