Former Star Headed to Impact Wrestling Soon?

Impact Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Don Callis appeared on Impact’s Aftershock post-show with Jimmy Jacobs and teased that a former ECW star may be coming to Impact soon.

“So, Jimmy. Might wanna bring your autograph book because I just got the scoop,” Callis said. “Someone who we didn’t even think was available might be coming here. I’m just saying. And I’ll say this, I learned a lot from him, Jimmy! I learned a lot from him. From 1999 to 2001. Do your homework, everyone. All you internet people out there, you figure out who am I talking about. Who am I talking about? Who’s undergone some changes recently? Maybe, I don’t know.”

Callis was in ECW from 1999 to 2001, leading the stable known as The Network. Callis himself feuded with Joel Gertner, but there’s no word yet on who exactly he is referring to. The Network featured several members at times, including current Impact star Rhino, current WWE Coach Steve Corino, Tajiri, Scotty Riggs, Jack Victory, and Lou E. Dangerously.

Stay tuned for updates on the possible signing. Below is video from the appearance:
