Jinder Mahal has offered up a couple of his takes on the current WWE landscape, including his thoughts on Roman Reigns and Oba Femi.
In a ‘Hot WWE Takes of the Week’ video shared on Instagram, the former WWE Champion pushed back against the idea that Reigns is overrated, arguing that few performers can match what he brings to the table.
“Roman Reigns is not overrated,” he said. “Name anybody who can compete with Roman Reigns in terms of presentation, in terms of psychology, in terms of communication, in terms of aura. Perhaps pre-pandemic Roman Reigns, you can call overrated. But, this version? No way.”
Mahal also weighed in on World Heavyweight Champion Oba Femi, pitching a heel turn that would allow the powerhouse to dominate the competition until fans naturally begin getting behind him.
He compared the idea to Brock Lesnar’s early WWE run and believes pairing Femi with Paul Heyman would complete the presentation.
“Turn Oba Femi heel,” he said. “Just like Brock Lesnar was when he was when he debuted, have him destroy everybody and let the crowd naturally turn him babyface. Put him with Paul Heyman.”
