Gail Kim is never one to hold back when she has an opinion.
And her latest social media interaction proves that it is still an active personality trait possessed and practiced by the women’s wrestling legend.
Kim surfaced via social media on Wednesday to address Dani Luna requesting and receiving her release from TNA this week.
While addressing the subject, Kim brought up that Luna isn’t the first, referencing Steph De Lander quitting along with Mance Warner due to reported issues with TNA management in early March.
“Saw a few comments and of course it’s disheartening,” Kim wrote. “I don’t know what’s going on internally….. obviously not a good sign if two females have quit in the last month. I can’t comment except to say, disappointing. Ever since my last comment, I’ll say it’s been very split in how fans perceive the division. Only time will tell how it plays out.”
A fan responded to Kim, calling her out for failing to mention that De Lander referenced the company not wanting her to wrestle as her reason for quitting, and pointed out several female talents that have recently returned to the company.
“I was asked about my thoughts on Dani’s departure,” Kim responded. “Stop nitpicking to cause an outrage for nothing. I answered what I was asked. Why don’t you just state what you are thinking instead of telling me what to say….”
An additional fan responded to the back-and-forth, taking Kim’s side, promoting Kim to return with some more comments.
“Everyone feels power in anonymity on this platform,” she wrote. “For people telling me what to say and what to think… or even to tell me I don’t have a right to an opinion at all… pretty sure I have had more experience and lived that life where I’ve EARNED that right and probably know a thing or two more than the person making assumptions on what they watch and read. But hey what do I know??”
