Hall of Fame

The LOP/WH Hall of Fame consists of professional wrestlers and professional wrestling matches that you, the readers of WrestlingHeadlines.com, nominate and vote on. Across WrestleMania Week, special “induction” columns dedicated to each inductee are posted as part of our “LOP/WH Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony,” a week-long celebration of wrestling’s past.

This initiative was created by LOP columnist and radio host, “The Doc” Chad Matthews. He solicited nominations from the readers of LordsofPain.net, which populated a nomination ballot. Over the years, the HOF nomination and voting process has changed very little. The original categories were:

• Singles Male Wrestlers (2)
• Singles Female Wrestlers (1)
• Tag Teams/Factions (1)
• Managers/Personalities (1)
• Matches (2)

A category for Mid-Card Wrestler was added in 2017, but it feeds into Singles Wrestlers.
