On February 21, 2018, “The Doc” Chad Matthews unveiled the post seeking nominations from LOP readers for a sixth class of wrestlers, personalities and matches to be inducted in April of the same year. The nomination period took place between February 21st and 28th. Voting took place on the website, using the comments section, the following week.
Nominations were sought out for the standard categories: 2 singles wrestlers, one tag team or faction, one female wrestler, one predominantly mid-card wrestler and two wrestling matches.
