We reported earlier today that IMPACT Wrestling would be taping future episodes of their weekly show on AXS from SKyline Studios in Nashville, Tennessee later this week. Here’s how they were able to make it happen amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. (H/T PW Insider)
-The taping is being held behind closed doors at a private studio that could not be accessible to the general public, and therefore it would not fall under Tennessee’s shutdown of typical venues that wrestling events would be held in.
-It is written in the Executive stay-at-home order that notes that any material being created for media (including TV) would be exempt from the order.
-All those involved in the IMPACT tapings are participating voluntarily. There will be a medical unit on-site so talent and crew can undergo testing, which includes having their temperature taken before being allowed on set. They will be enforcing social distancing at all times much like AEW and WWE has.
-IMPACT is reportedly following all guidelines suggested by the CDC and the Department of Homeland Security’s Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce.
