Famed wrestling personality and former NWA commentator Jim Cornette took to Twitter this morning to defend WWE Hall of Famer Jerr “The King” Lawler after his “Ramen Noodle” comment on last night’s Monday Night Raw. Lawler was referring to former cruiserweight champion Akira Tozawa’s finishing maneuver, a statement that was received with backlash from the WWE Universe.
Cornette writes, “So now people are mad at @JerryLawler for telling a joke. Now I understand why modern wrestling sucks, because most modern wrestling fans are such whiny little pussies they don’t DESERVE good wrestling. How do these people go out in public without breaking out in tears? #WHINE
