Joey G’s Best WWE/NXT Matches Of The Decade

As 2019 nears its end, a review of the last decade worth of exceptionally thrilling bouts indicate that this has been a truly unique time in the pro-wrestling industry. Honestly, just reflecting on the last two years worth of storylines and developments, including the birth of a major promotion, the growth of the independent circuit, and the resurgence of foreign wrestling to fans in North America have made these last ten years feel as important to the history of the sport as the Boom of the 1980s or the popularity of the Monday Night Wars.

When looking back on these matches, it’s hard to separate any of them as the best of the bunch, with each containing a moment that will last the test of time. Like most of the wrestling-universe, I can recall how each of these gems, whether popular or underrated, gifted me a feeling of euphoric bliss that only pro-wrestling can provide. As an easier way to chronicle this timeline, I’ve separated my choices for best matches of the decade by promotion, none of which are listed in any ranking order, but by year. I hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as I have.
