AEW star Joey Janela recently appeared on the Doughboys podcast where The Bad Boy revealed that he got company president Tony Khan into drinking White Claws, and how generous Khan is when throwing a party for his roster. Highlights are below.
Getting Khan into White Claws:
I got Tony Khan into White Claws. He got really into it. So now, he carries around a duffel bag full of White Claws. If we go to a restaurant and they don’t have White Claws, you know there’s a duffel bag of White Claws underneath the table and that’s what everybody’s drinking.
How White Claw is the unofficial drink of AEW:
The unofficial drink of AEW is White Claw. You’ll rarely see beer at the after party. You’ll have to bring the beer yourself if you want to drink beer or else you’re drinking Claw.
Khan treating everyone at a party to food:
We go back to the hotel and [Tony] throws a party. This happens every week. Eventually, after an hour or two, he’ll order about 100 Whopper sandwiches for no reason. It’s always an excessive amount of food with him. There will be like 18 people partying and he’ll order 300 tacos.
