John Cena’s role in the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel has been confirmed.
The former 16-time world champion will be playing the role of Peacemaker in the DC movie franchise, joining a returning Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and a slew of new characters played by the likes of Nathan Fillion, Idris Elba, and more. The film is a follow up to the 2016 Suicide Squad and is directed by filmmaker James Gunn, whose previous credits include the MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
