Those are generally the joyful words that begins the spreading of positivity throughout the WWE Universe on a week-to-week basis for the past ten years.
Today, those words take on a whole new meaning.
And Kofi Kingston knows it.
Following the special New Day 10th Anniversary episode of WWE Raw on December 2 in Everett, Washington, which saw Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turn heel on Big E., the WWE veteran shared a video of himself with a sadistic smirk on his face while quoting the lyrics to The New Day theme.
“Woke up today feeling brand new,” Kingston wrote. “It’s a New Day, yes…it is…”
