Matt Hardy is clearing the air after his recent comments sparked conversation following a major title change on WWE Raw.
After The Vision captured the WWE World Tag Team Championships on Monday night, Hardy took to social media and expressed interest in bringing the titles “back home” to WWE alongside his brother Jeff Hardy.
The comment quickly caught attention, especially given The Hardys’ current status with TNA.
Now, Hardy is offering further context to what he meant.
In a follow-up post, Hardy clarified that while WWE holds deep personal significance, it’s not the only place he and Jeff consider home. Instead, he emphasized that both promotions play important roles in their legacy and careers.
“Jeff and I have two homes – TNA and WWE,” Hardy’s post began. “WWE is our childhood home. It’s where we grew up, where we learned to become superstar pro wrestlers, where we both succeeded and failed in life and work.”
He continued by explaining how WWE shaped their foundation, while TNA allowed them to evolve creatively and take risks that defined some of their most memorable personas.
“Without WWE, Jeff and I aren’t looked at as the GOATs. TNA is our adult home. TNA has allowed us to be men that bet on themselves and either sink or swim on their own. Without TNA, there’s no BROKEN Matt, Brother Nero, Anti-Christ, Willow or Big Money Matt. We’re thrilled our homes are partners together, making anything a possibility for House Hardy.”
A notable perspective shift.
