AEW superstar Matt Hardy took to Twitter early this morning to comment on comedian Tom Segura’s recent pro-wrestling rant, where he called the business and it’s fanbase a bunch of “f***ing r**ards.” Segura’s words brought the likes of Baron Corbin, Ricochet, and Dolph Ziggler to fire back, but up until this point no one from AEW had responded.
The Broken One writes, “Tom Segura, who insulted pro wrestling & it’s fans, is looking for an emotional rise as a comedian. Don’t bite-His barb/bait expired long ago & made him seem uncultured. Does he criticize the concept of Santa next? My advice? Ignore him. WE know what wrestling is & it’s AWESOME.”

Hardy competed in his first ever AEW bout this past Wednesday on Dynamite, teaming up with Kenny Omega in a losing effort against the Inner Circle’s Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.
