AEW superstar Matt Jackson from the Young Bucks will not be in attendance for this Wednesday’s Dynamite from Seattle, the promotion’s first program of 2023. AEW President Tony Khan has been teasing a brand new look for the flagship show, one that has been promoted nonstop on Warner Media.
Jackson revealed on this week’s edition of Being The Elite that he will not be at the 2023 Dynamite debut, and instead will be taking his family on a vacation.
“I’m taking next week off. I’m not going to be in Seattle, obviously, or the [Tokyo] Dome [for Wrestle Kingdom 17]. I’m taking my family on a vacation, something I’ve been planning for a while. It is a Christmas idea. I’ve earned it. I’m happy.”
The following week Jackson and the rest of the Elite will be having match 7 of the best of seven series against the Death Triangle, where the winners will be crowned AEW Trios champions.
