Mercedes Moné’s championship reign across multiple promotions continues to shrink.
Just over a month removed from holding more than a dozen active titles, Moné has now been reduced to a single championship after suffering another loss on the independent scene.
At Winnipeg Pro Wrestling’s Fight at the Museum event, Moné dropped the WPW Women’s Championship to Jody Threat, ending her 164-day reign with the title.
It’s another notable shift in momentum for the 34-year-old star.
Following the loss, Moné is now down to just one active physical championship — the APAC Women’s Championship based out of Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Moné has remained off AEW television since losing the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at the AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash special earlier this year.
Her absence has continued to raise questions.
While there’s still no official word on when she might return to AEW programming, Moné recently posted a cryptic message on social media that many fans believe is teasing a comeback, potentially following her latest title defense appearance.
