Money Power Respect gave Juwan Thomas an ultimatum following the breakdown of their alliance at EMERGE 98: Back In The Saddle.
Thomas confronted Paragon, Christopher Moore and manager Alacon Jerome Howse in a video released by EMERGE Wrestling. The confrontation occurred as Money Power Respect prepared to challenge the Dead Presidents for the EMERGE World Tag Team Championship at EMERGE 99: Stock The Shelves.
Thomas teamed with Paragon and Moore against Lord Crewe, Matt Diesel and Nikeem Avent at EMERGE 98. Paragon left the match after becoming frustrated with Thomas, while Moore followed his partner and attempted to calm him down.

During the backstage confrontation, Thomas reminded the group that Paragon and Moore had called upon him for assistance. He said he answered because of his longstanding relationship with Howse and demanded to know why they had abandoned him.
Money Power Respect responded by accusing Thomas of placing himself above the group. They nevertheless praised the aggression he displayed against Diesel and Avent and indicated that he possesses qualities that could make him a valuable addition.
The group insisted that no individual member stands above the collective. EMERGE’s description of the video added that Thomas could fit into Money Power Respect if he learns to work with the group.
MONEY POWER RESPECT TO CHALLENGE THE DEAD PRESIDENTS
Paragon and Moore will challenge Chet Rippley and Jeremy Hadley for the EMERGE World Tag Team Championship at EMERGE 99 on September 5.
The Dead Presidents retained against Appollo Starr and Qassius Starr of Mo Betta Mob at EMERGE 98. A confrontation involving several teams followed the match and established the next stage of the championship picture.
The winners of the title match will advance to defend the championship at EMERGE 100. Gaston LaRue and Avery Hurts of the CruiserGreats will face No Limit Demons members Diesel and Avent at EMERGE 99 to determine the opposing team.
EMERGE 99: Stock The Shelves takes place at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds Community Building in Columbus, Indiana. Doors open at 18:00, with bell time scheduled for 19:00.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. An online family four-pack is available for $30 through the official EMERGE Wrestling ticket store.
The event will also serve as EMERGE’s annual food drive. Fans are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the Love Chapel Food Pantry.
Whether Thomas accepts Money Power Respect’s conditions remains unresolved. The group ended the confrontation with a direct message: “So now, the choice is yours.”
