More on Vice TV’s “Dark Side of the Ring” Success for Season Two Premiere

As noted last week, Vice’s “Dark Side of the Ring” season two premiere, featuring the story of the Benoit family tragedy, drew the best viewership of the show so far, with 1.2 million viewers across three telecasts on March 24. The original airing at 9pm ET drew 320,000 viewers with a 0.14 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

This was up 119% against the season one premiere in total viewers, but the show also set a new record in the adults 18-49 demographic.

This was also the best ratings ever for a Vice TV original telecast, according to Nielsen data.

Vice made part one and two available for viewing on YouTube as well, and one has over 2 million views while the other has well over 1 million views.

Tonight’s “Dark Side of the Ring” episode will look at ECW Original New Jack. Next Tuesday’s episode will focus on WWE’s “Brawl For All” tournament in 1999.
