AEW’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In: London could feature several surprise entrants.
MJF, Andrade El Idolo, Tommaso Ciampa and Komander have already been announced for the match, but the format traditionally leaves room for mystery participants. That has led to speculation surrounding several potential additions, including former WWE stars and free agents Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly and Ilja Dragunov.
Keith Lee and Buddy Matthews have also emerged as potential names to watch for the match. Both have been away from AEW television for extended periods and would fit the bill for surprise appearances at Wembley Stadium.
Another intriguing possibility is Paul Wight. While Wight has previously discussed getting himself back into physical condition and his desire to do more than work behind the scenes, an appearance at All In would seemingly require a significant change in his recent role with the company.
There is also the question of whether Wight could be approaching a “one more match” scenario. If that were the case, however, it would seem unusual for his potential final match to take place as an unannounced appearance in the Casino Gauntlet.
Still, the addition of Wight would give AEW the traditional giant spot that has long been a staple of battle royal-style matches.
