Alexa Bliss wasn’t able to make it back in time for “The Biggest Party of the Summer” at WWE SummerSlam 2026 this past weekend at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN., however it appears she has successfully arrived at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
Why is that relevant?
That is the host venue and location for tonight’s post-SummerSlam episode of WWE SmackDown, which airs live at 8/7c on the USA Network in North America, and on Netflix for international fans.
Fans snapped pictures of Alexa Bliss and her real-life husband, Ryan Cabrera, arriving to the building early this evening (see photos below), and the timing is interesting.
WWE has Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill as the lone advertised match heading into the August 7 blue brand show in “The City of Brotherly Love,” which is the perfect way to set up Bliss’ return, as her last WWE television appearance came last month on SmackDown, when she was injured by an attack by Cargill with a steel chair.
In additional potential spoiler for tonight’s show, one source is reporting that the early internal rundown for the 8/7 SmackDown in Philly includes a SummerSlam rematch, with newly crowned WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin defending against former title-holder Trick Williams.
Advertised for tonight’s WWE SmackDown are the returns of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, as well as appearances by Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk, Interim Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, as well as “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
