WWE is coming to “The City of Brotherly Love” on August 7 for the blue brand fallout from “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”
The post-WWE SummerSlam 2026 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown is live this evening at 8/7c on the USA Network in North America, and Netflix for international fans.
And it’s going to be a stacked show.
As noted, WWE has advertised the SmackDown return of Kevin Owens for tonight’s show. “The Prize Fighter” made his surprise WWE return this past weekend, being added to the No. 1 Contender match and winning it to set up a future title tilt against reigning champion CM Punk.
Speaking of “The Best in the World,” reigning Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk is also in the house tonight at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
If the TV return of Owens wasn’t enough, an additional high-profile SmackDown return goes down tonight.
Joining Owens in his first appearance back on the weekly blue brand prime time Friday night program is Randy Orton. “The Viper” also returned at the two-night WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event this past weekend at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN., delivering a match-changing RKO to Cody Rhodes in his Undisputed WWE Championship showdown against Punk.
“JUST ANNOUNCED,” Xfinity Mobile Arena wrote via social media leading up to the August 7 episode of SmackDown. “‘The Viper’ Randy Orton returns to SmackDown after RKO’ing Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.”
The statement would then go on to promote a special ticket discount for the 8/7 post-SummerSlam episode of SmackDown.
“Use code LASTCHANCE for 30% off select tickets,” the announcement continued. “Offer ends Friday at 10:00AM.”
Also advertised for tonight’s post-SummerSlam episode of SmackDown is Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill, as well as an appearance by new Interim Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
