Myles Borne is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at how his real-life relationship with Vaquer first began.
During a recent interview, Borne opened up about their early interactions, revealing that while there was an immediate mutual interest, he initially struggled to make a move due to nerves.
According to Borne, the chemistry was there from the very beginning, but actually acting on it proved to be a different story.
“You know, honestly, when we first saw each other, we were like, okay, we noticed. And then, for the first couple of weeks, we knew we liked each other, but I would try to build up the courage to talk to her. And as soon as we cross path, I go the opposite direction. I promise every time. And she noticed it. And I remember one time we were backstage and she was I was coming in through one door to go to catering and she was coming through another door and as we intercepted the path I turned back around and walked out. I didn’t even eat. I said, “Nope, I’m not eating now. I’m just going to get be hungry” ’cause I, you know, I was still trying to figure out how what I want to say to her.”
He continued, noting that despite his hesitation, Vaquer ultimately made the first move, something that helped get the ball rolling between the two.
“Yeah, eventually she gave me no choice. She messaged me and she said, “Hey, let’s hang out. Let’s go have dinner.” And you know, we did. That’s what I was like, okay, now I have no choice. I have to just build up the courage, talk to her. And it was great. It was like the connection from the first day, like it, she’s just, she’s genuinely amazing person, and I’m lucky, you know. So, yeah. All the guys out there who are so mad, hey, I get it. I get it. But like I said, I want to win in every aspect in life and that’s one of the aspects.”
Safe to say, things worked out just fine.
