On today’s episode of AEW DARK, Darby Allin defeated Robert Anthony in his first match back since May’s Double or Nothing pay per view.
Immediately following the bout, FTW champion Brian Cage came out to assault Allin to get some payback from Fight for the Fallen. When Anthony stepped up to Cage in support of Allin, new signee Ricky Starks came out of nowhere to send Anthony into the barricade. Starks and Cage would then team up on Allin to hit an onslaught of double-team manuevers.
Meanwhile Cage’s manager Taz, who was on commentary with Excalibur, teased that the new alliance may be long term. Cage and Starks later posed together over Allin’s body. Watch the entire segment below.
