Nick Aldis Challenges Marty Scurll For The Crockett Cup 2020, Adds Massive Stipulation

On today’s episode of NWA Powerrr, world’s champion Nick Aldis had a sit-down meeting with Ring of Honor superstar Marty Scurll regarding their recent back and forth interpromotional war that included the Villain’s stable-mate Flip Gordon losing to Aldis at the recent Hard Times pay per view.

Aldis told Scurll that he didn’t appreciate him coming after the one thing that has defined him as a wrestler, claiming that there are a lot of two-faces in the pro-wresting industry, and that he didn’t realize Scurll was one of them. The Villain responded by saying the one thing he’s never been is a world’s champion, a trait that he refuses to let be his legacy. Scurll added in that he knew he could beat Aldis if they were to meet one more time.

This led to Aldis challenging Scurll to a match at the upcoming Crockett Cup pay per view in April, which is the one-year anniversary from the last time Aldis and Scurll faced one another for the NWA championship. (Aldis won by submission). To make things interesting, Aldis told Scurll that if he does not win, he will have to refund every fan in the arena (no location has been announced yet). Scurll did not immediately accept, with Aldis walking off and telling him to think about it.
