WWE Backstage host Renee Young recently spoke with Outkick The Coverage where Young was asked whether or not she had any desire to become a manager in WWE. The former Raw commentator admits that managing was always something she wanted to dabble in, even revealing that she almost pitched a partnership with Elias.
I would love to do that. It’s something that I’ve always kind of wanted to dabble in. One person who I thought for a second, I was like, ‘Oooh … should we pitch a thing?’ was Elias. I thought it would be really fun to manage Elias as his band manager or something.
Check out Young’s full comments below, where she discusses a time Vince McMahon asked her to be a ring announcer for Tough Enough, and jokes about not having the skills towards being a referee. (H/T and transcribed by Pro Wrestling Sheet)
