There’s been a lot of speculation on when Marty Scurll will be back into the mix for Ring of Honor. Scurll has been away from ROH for a while not, from a public perspective, following the “#SpeakingOut” movement on social media this past summer.
Fightful Select reports that ROH was filming the Final Battle pay-per-view earlier today in Baltimore, Scurll was not there as he was in Florida. We know that Scurll did not make the Friday tapings, but there’s no word yet on if he will be at any other tapings.
Scurll signed a multi-year contract extension in January of this year, and also became the ROH head booker. He was accused of taking advantage of a 16 year old girl while she was inebriated during the “#SpeakingOut” movement, but he denied the accusations and claimed everything was consensual. ROH announced back in June that they were investigating the allegations, but Scurll has not returned to work as a booker or a wrestler since then. His profile was removed from the ROH website in October, but he remains signed at last word.
Stay tuned as there should be more on Scurll soon.
