Some WWE Raw brand Superstars are coming to the blue brand on WWE SmackDown this Friday night in Beantown.
The official website and social media accounts for the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts is advertising four big Raw Superstars taking part in a post-show dark match main event, with WWE World Tag-Team Champions from WWE Raw, Bron Breakker and Austin Theory of The Vision, accompanied by Maxxine Dupri, taking on the team of SmackDown star “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and rising WWE Raw mega-star “The Ruler” Oba Femi.
“Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi team up to take on World Tag Team Champions The Vision w/ Maxxine Dupri this Friday at SmackDown,” the advertising reads.
It is expected that the bout will be a dark match main event, which will not be televised, but instead will take place exclusively for the audience inside the TD Garden at the August 14 episode of WWE SmackDown in Boston, MA.
Advertised for the televised portion of the 8/14 blue brand prime time Friday night program are three big championship contests.
For the United States Championship, Baron Corbin defends against hometown favorite Carmelo Hayes, the WWE Women’s United States Championship will also be on the line, with reigning title-holder Tiffany Stratton defending against Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence.
Finally, the WWE Tag-Team Championships will be up for grabs in a special three-way tag-team title tilt, with defending champions Damian Priest & R-Truth squaring off against AAA Tag-Team Champions The War Raiders and Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga with Haku.
