New AEW star Shane “Swerve” Strickland recently filed to trademark his name (Shane Strickland) and his nickname (Swerve) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for entertainment purposes. The filing was made on March 1st, five days before he debuted at Revolution.
Women’s division star Abadon also applied to trademark her name with the USPTO for similar purposes as Swerve’s. Her filing was made on March 3rd.
