Shiloh Hill is optimistic that his time on the sidelines may not last as long as originally expected.
During the August 4 episode of WWE NXT, Hill appeared in a video message and revealed that he suffered a fractured maxilla during his match against Tristen Angels last month. While the injury initially appeared likely to keep him out for an extended period, Hill later shared some encouraging news on social media.
“Thank you all for all the get well wishes,” he wrote. “Recently got some good news which is that because of the placement of the fracture and how quickly the swelling has gone down.”
Hill went on to explain that his recovery has progressed better than anticipated.
“i may be back in the ring a little sooner than the Doctor’s initially thought,” he continued. “That being said, don’t miss NXT Live in Melbourne tomorrow and Jacksonville on Saturday.”
While Hill did not provide a firm timetable for his return, the latest update suggests he could be back in action sooner than originally expected if his recovery continues on its current pace.
